Photos from wandering around New York City for a couple of days. We're staying in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, and have so far made it to:

- WTC site and Memorial Preview
- Little Italy Pizza on Park Place
- Momofoku Noodle Bar on 1st Ave - including first taste of the divine Lagunitas IPA
- Little Branch (speakeasy) - for a hot buttered rum to ward off the icy winds
- Queuing at Magnolia bakery for cupcakes
- Watty and Meg on Court
- Staten Island ferry
- Hot Bird bar in Brooklyn

Highlights of an afternoon at the Hannah Peschar sculpture garden, near Ockley in Surrey. Note: there is lots of sculpture but no tearoom nor any abstract representation of a tearoom.
My favourite sculpture? The pale pink marble monolith with a dripping pool of 'molten' pewter.
