RHS Hyde Hall, Essex - #ARSE2010 Day 1
Due to its hillside setting and views open to the surrounding countryside on all sides, RHS Hyde Hall could not be said to be sitting sympathetically within the landscape. That aside, this comprised of a beautiful selection of gardens. We particularly enjoyed the modern Robinson garden, because what engineer-turned-garden-designer doesn't love a good gabion?
Drifts of alliums were particularly fine in the sporadic spring sunshine.
